bandidos don't wave at other bikers

they might not be as wild as they were a few years ago, but I wouldn't with 'em

Yeah it happens all the time. Try riding through Santa Fe on a sportbike. It's either they are going to be really friendly, ignore you, of flick you off. Just this past weekend had a lady on the back of a Harley flick me off when I waved. I just laughed.

Had another guy that rides in my neighborhood invite me up to Curlys Bar, and guess what he rides a Harley.

Had a bunch of riders on Hwy 6 close to 288 pull up next to me with leather vests on. I looked over at them and none of them even acknowledged me. I was happy just to have a bunch of folks to ride alongside when going to meet another MH member. Off the line at the light they all jumped it (I guess they thought I was going to take off). I cruised alongside them for a while checking out there bikes and their women lol. Then they all wanted in my lane so I blocked for 'em. They waived at me after that

Just read what I said in my previous post.

I had a similar story to this; me and my friends were riding to Houston one night and caught up with a few Harleys rode with them for a while then decided to pass them. They got up and we were doing about 100mph, I increase the speed to 110 so did they. My friends and I fall back to about 50yds and they continued at 110. I downshifted so I could fly past them with my pipe roaring. They tried to catch up and got pulled over for speeding. I had radar detector and we slowed down.:laughing6

Most Harleys are asholes against sportbike and metric bikes.

Advice? I don't think it was advice. It was probably just my .02, and I would only do it the mofkr put my life in danger.

hehehehehehhehe, that would have been funny to see. I doubt very seriously if they thought that 85 was gonna leave ya, that sounds more like average bandito group cruising speed.

I do need one, but I'm being smart. I'm not going to go broke to get one. But, I meant bike or car.

Maybe I'm getting old, but my tolerance for stupidity is real thin nowadays.
Some things I'll just smile and wave, which usually just the offending asshat even more, but other times I feel the need to call people on their stupidity.

Granted, I would have presented it a little differently than how Will did it, but sometimes I think people need to be reminded that there's consequences to being a dumbass.

I'll relate an "incident" that happened a few weeks back; it was a similar situation to Wills.

I was out riding north of Houston. I was by myself, riding my SV650 which is a naked bike.

I was passing through Montgomery when I passed a group of Harley riders. I waved, the 2 front runners didn't even acknowledge I was there, the 3rd guy waved and the 4th guy shot me the bird.

I wasn't in a good mood as it was, feeling kind of like a wolverine with a toothache, so my patience for stupidity was pretty short.

I spun the bike around and followed the guys to where they stopped, at Kings Café.
I pulled up right next to them and pulled off my helmet. The look on the guys face was priceless.

I calmly asked if his "gesture" was meant for me. He fumbled about a second or two and then said that no, he was directing it to his riding buddies.

I said "o.k., have a safe one." and proceeded to go into Kings and eat some breakfast. Funny thing was, they got back on their bikes and left.

I guess they were embarrassed by their own stupidity.

As I've said in the past; If you have a problem with someone and feel strongly enough about it, take it up with them.

Do it politely but seriously.

Most people, when confronted with their stupidity, realize their actions for what they are and either apologize or just crawfish.

The 1 % that don't? Well use your best judgment then...

As aways, my 2 cents YMMV.

BTE, did Harold get his food!!:laughing6

+1 - especially if they are in as bad a mood as you are --> "Chasing someone down and confronting them is a surefire way to get your shot if you happened upon the wrong person.
