October 16 or 17 Meetup

Hello Everyone. If the weather is good on the 16th or 17th of October would anyone be interested in just meeting up? Maybe we can bless a local business with a dozen bikes outside while we relax then head around the loop a few times LOL

I am free to ride all day Saturday the 17th if anyone has any ideas.

Safe travels everyone.

I must just be asking fellow riders to go out on days that are just not popular... LMAO. That or i am the only one in Houston deprived from Riding time and crave being on my bike every minute I have time... LOL I usually end up riding round Texas stopping in to random biker bars.

Maybe riding around the loop just isn't that popular. If you asked people to meet and head out on some decent FM roads you might get more of a response, but personally, riding in a circle at triple digits on the highway in traffic doesn't do much for me. I get my fill of Houston highway riding during my daily commute.

I would go, but the bike is down right now.

I'm pretty sure the 610 in 10 was a joke.

I figured "610 in 10" was a joke when suggested, but when OP (named GSXRCowboy) said:

it sounded a lot to me like the inexperienced guys (me included, back in the day) who think the pinnacle plan for a bike meet is gathering at PP1 and riding the loop. I wasn't trying to be condescending, but offering an idea of suggesting farm roads around Houston as your area to cruise as opposed to the loop (where there's always traffic).

Either way, unfortunately I'm not available. I could use a good relaxed-pace cruise on some back roads out toward the hill country about now.
