movin on up! to the west side!

ya, me and my g/f just got approved for a new apartment. 992 square foot, for $644 a month. near wilcrest and memorial. we are going to add a detached two car private garage for $120 more, maybe a month after we move in. hella nice neighborhood, just an older complex. renovated in 2006 and great management so its a awesome deal.

in a way ill miss livin in the hood, but in a way ill be glad to get out.

ya! the oven and dishwasher look like straight outta my grandma's house, and the trim...stuff like baseboards and windowsills, you can tell the building is old, but its been renovated, its clean, they have curbside trashpickup. 24 hour maintenance guarantee!

that was the coolest part. if something breaks, you report it, they have to get in touch with you in 24 hours to let you know whats going on. if they drop the ball and stuff isnt getting fixed because of it, they have to start deducting it from your rent....

ive NEVER heard of an apartment willingly offer that in writing. every other place you gotta fight to and back.
