WATCH LIVE: Spring ISD to address high school football brawl between Spring, Westfiel

The Spring Independent School District is expected to address the brawl that broke out Friday night during a high school football game between Spring and Westfield at Leonard George Stadium.

The brawl got coaches and players from both teams on the field.

It's unclear what started the fight or if anyone was injured. No one was arrested as a result of the altercation.

A witness said the police with the Spring ISD Police Department and referees broke up the fight.

The Spring ISD released the following statement Saturday, "The behavior displayed on the field does not represent our expectations for good sportsmanship and conduct. We'll be working with the UIL to determine appropriate sanctions and recourse."
