I'm typically geared up except for short stints to the gas station to fill up air or gas.
I have an air compressor but 95% of the time I use this to put air in my tires

I read somewhere that most accidents occur within a mile of your home, so I moved.

I do that all the time as well.

I once walked out to a flat tire on my truck and pumped it up enough to where I could drive it to the gas station. This was before I has a compressor.

I wish you a fast recovery.

Get a small compressor, it pays over time. How much is to fill at the gas station? lots of time those air compressors don't work half the time.
