I'm sure I'm just really dense, but... Why do people do this? Do you guys party or something or do you literally just camp there so you don't have to wake up early to prep everything in the AM?

I live in Beaumont and I can get a better night sleep in my trailer than if I left early enough to get setup. I also like setting up the night before so I don't have do it when I first get there. Relaxed mornings are nice. Plus you meet awesome people and can learn a lot.

Its so much easier waking up there at the track well rested and not in a hurry. I stopped driving to the track the morning of the track day when I made it half way to angleton and relized I forgot my motorcycle key.

I just bypassed the ignition switch...

I'll drive the morning of if I have to, but I like hanging out the night before. Even better than the actual TD or race.

Is that where you are from originally? I think we met at SHORP at one point... I am from around there.

BTW 17th I am in but ducking out of the 18th. You guys get a reprieve from me being a rolling chicane.

Don't remember the crash and don't remember the whambulance ride. Pics of my bike and from what I've been told leads me to believe a lowside in diamonds edge. Sorry to folks that had to wait for ambulance to roll. I HATE to be that guy.
