Vince Wilfork Makes Surprise Visit To School

Texans defensive lineman Vince Wilfork is a big man with a very big heart. On Tuesday, the 6'2" 325 pound NFL veteran surprised a group of students at Looscan Elementary in Houston. He announced plans for a major renovation to their school's SPARK park. The renovation, which has already started with a new play structure, will be made possible with an $18,000 grant from UnitedHealthcare and a $14,000 grant from the Vince Wilfork Foundation. Construction of a concrete walking trail and picnic areas will start this fall.
