Ammo causes 90% of jams in guns. People buy cheapass ammo in bulk and expect it to shoot fine in an auto. That isn't the case, with an auto you NEED to shoot a quality ammo.

i didn't see much in the way of "great" deals but I usually buy my reloading components to save on hazmat costs when being shipped.

Scored 8lbs of varget, 4lbs benchmark, 5k primers, and 1k 55gr .224 fmj.

Like I said not a great deal but it compares to most online sites with shipping and fees.

I have to say from my experience in building and shooting auto pistols, that I would put that statement up there with a new gun needing break in time.

If a gun is advertised to feed anything, including hollowpoints or aluminum case, it should.

I don't consider a 1911 build complete until it will feed anything I put in it. I had a Ruger and a Keltec, and a Glock that would feed anything I fed them as well.

Unless you are talking a tight, target grade chamber, it should eat anything that is made within Sammi specs.

1911's should and 99% of the time WILL feed any ammo you put in it. You will definately notice a difference in how tight you shoot if you use bulk or quality ammo. My statement pertains mainly to .22's not feeding.

YEA same diff, .22 or what ever if its a semi auto, like you said cheap ammo will jam, but with the .22 you have to check the barrle as well, i have a coustom 10-22 ruger i built with a houge (spelling) barrle and i can not or well i say i am not supose to shoot, hot loads, like the ccr stinger, has to do with twist and such. i need to go shooting some time !
