Gun Show

I'll be going to the gun show at the George R. Brown all day Sunday. Sooo, if anyone can't make it out and wants me to look for something for them let me know. Send me what you're looking for and a cell number or something like that so if I find it I can call you before I drop a bunch of money on a gun or whatever that I don't need, haha. Or if anyone just wants to meet up there or is going and needs someone to call to ask questions about anything before making a purchase just let me know. I sell guns Monday-Saturday so I am pretty knowledgeable when it comes to firearms and I don't mind helping out

PS: I will only be shopping from individuals, not brokers, at the show for 2 reasons.

1.) I am only 18 and you CAN legally buy a handgun at 18, just not from an FFL dealer.

2.) I can get myself(and you) better deals on new guns at my store so it would be pointless to buy from a dealer there, just looking for sick deals from people visiting the show.

i went to the gun show.. so many guns that i wanted. I saw a taurus .357 magnum revolver that was cheap as for $300 just wasn't sure on how good the brand was.

all i bought was a case tumbler, .45 acp bullets for reloading, and some .45 case holders.

thanks! im glad i didn't buy it. i was just thinking that since it was a revolver i really wouldn't have to worry about a Fail to feed or fail to extract. that i know if i pull the trigger on it, it would fire.

I wished the "higher end" manufacturers lowered their prices..... 200-400 should be good prices i mean it doesnt cost more to make them then other brands. Sick of 600-1000 for a pistol.

exactly my point..........the taurus failed to open breach after firing, magazine didnt feed, slide degraded. and on a barreta 9mm, slide would jam all the time, gun smith did not want to fix due to heavy wear or something. I would buy those brands again no doubt, but i would also maintain it more then lets say a glock or sig. They are very affordable guns i concur but with my two experience they malfunctioned.

I had a taurus .40 and it was absoltuely flawless.. fired off near a thousand rounds with a friend who had a s&w .40.

Taurus - 0 jams
S&W - more jams than i could even count like ten billion.~

I think the deal with Taurus was they where a contract and made guns for beretta, then when beretta didnt want to use them anymore they just became thier own brand and kept making the guns they had plans/equipment for.. then later developed some of thier own.

the .40 i had was a Taurus PT 24/7 supposedly the 24/7 stands for reliability~
