only if you deposit it....cash transactions on the other hand, well....:icon_bigg

If the box were, let's say, "ripped" and I had no way of finding the owner, then I don't guess I would feel too badly about it. Paying my bills sure wouldn't invoke any guilt in me!

EDIT* even if you deposit cash, I find it hard to believe they record the serial number for every bill deposited and enter it in a database.

I gotta say I'm a little disappointed in my fellow moto folks. What happened to feeling bad when you do something wrong? I mean it would be hard to walk away from that money but I would feel like a thief if I kept it.
Plus is it worth getting caught with it? They do put out alerts and tell retailers to look for certain series of serial numbers.
I would defintely give it back and hope for a reward. If I didn't earn it then it belongs to someone else. If I keep it I stole it. Period.

It's not yours to donate to begin with. Next time you lose your wallet and somebody returns it without the cash, don't accuse them of stealing it. They might have just donated it. :laughing6

Did those guys know there was money in the boxes? For all they knew ... they were returning boxes of toilet paper or something.
