Broken front wheel (not good)

So as I was riding home last night. My front wheel came apart. I was taking a u turn at about 30 or so in full lean and it dumped me. I said what the . Picked my bike up and noticed my front tire was flat. Than I noticed about a 8 or 10 inch section of wheel was missing(i found it on the ground) I didn't hit anything. There was no sand or gravel on the road. Best I can tell was just a weak spot on the cast aluminum wheel. So when I leaned over it just peeled the lip and broke a huge chunk and that's what caused me to crash

Yeah it is!!! I recovered the peices. Looks like bad casting or something. You can look at them and tell I didn't hit anything. I do have a few scrapes and bruises. My gear did it's job once again

So would it be out of line to say they also up the rim? I'd say call their as, but at this point I'd just never go back.

Buell quality...enough said.
If they damaged the rim, it would have been leaking more than likely, this looks like a hit to me. Could have been after he went down and it washed out. Possibly hit a curb when it went sliding. He says it didn't hit anything but the sidewall of the tire looks like it did.

I don't remember hitting anything. And I agree if it was damaged getting the tire on it would Probly leak. But it didnt. The front could've just washed out and then it broke. Idk. All I know was I was on the ground quickly. The bike never hit the curb. Came close but didn't. idk what happened. But Insurence is coming to pick it up tomorrow and take it to the shop
