Cool Polaris RZR (4-seater)

Seen one at Outriggers with Texas plates and street tires... I never knew these were allowed to be registered and driven on the streets. Anyone on here have one and done the same? What are the pros/cons? I'm strongly considering buying one to bar hop on and go to Galveston from time-to-time.

Made my buddy's wildcat street legal for him. Easy to do. Get your inspection, take the title to dmv, show you have insurance and inspection, they will issue you plates and a rebuilt title showing its street legal. Same as a dirtbike

That would be awesome to take to the Bolivar peninsula. Use it to run up and down the beach chasing birds while wade fishing. Then hop on the highway and go eat at Stingarees on the water.

That's the truth, but I'll try to be as responsible as I can. Knock-on-wood, I have yet to drink that much and turn a key... I feel pretty confident that I know when to stop and say, "No more."

Good to know!

Do you know what he is paying for insurance? What type of coverage did he buy? Who is he with?

I can assure you there is nothing street legal about that. It is only for show.

He has full coverage on it. I think progressive. And when they titled it as an on road vehicle it go classified as a motorcycle. Don't know why but it works

The government will eventually catch up

I know a guy who registered (paid taxes) on a $80k Arial atom, street drove it for 3yrs, now the state is saying it's not DOT compliant.

This should fall in the same boat

Is that the one I saw on Craigslist saying the state took his title away?
