Re: END OF SUMMER MOTOHOUSTON(and everyone else) BBQ/MEET INFO **READ**

If you like, I can look into this. I'm just sitting in the office and will make a few phone calls. I'm thinking that they'll call it an "organized meeting" or something like that and may require a permit. Depending on number of people they may also want security. Let me know an approximate number to give them, alcohol?, food, vending ie; t-shirts, etc. I guess what I'm trying to make sure happens is that this get together is legit. From what I gather, there's gonna be a lot of people participating/showing. I believe in order for "Sportbikes" to not look like a neusance is to have all the ducks in a row. That way no one can jack with the meet. Anything I can do to help.

I've done this with several meets in the past, and it usually works well, as long as you appoint the people you can trust, to bring the essentials (meat/bread/drinks)

Just make up a master list of what we need. People will see something, offer to bring it, and their name is added next to that item. And as time goes on, people will see what remains and can offer to bring whatever is left.

Ofcourse, it is a bike meet so may be tough to bring certain things.
back pack it

I kinda liked the pay-pal thing myself, kinda hard for me to bring anything even with a tankbag all the way from Tomball......... and backpacks ?? screw that I hate riding with a backpack they limit my movement too much not to mention they act like a NHRA Parachute.....

OK. I spoke to a rep for the park and she said that there is no need for a permit and no security. I didn't tell her what the meeting was for or anything like that. The park is a first come first serve area and she suggested that there be a "Private Party" sign be placed wherever everyone is going to be. Oh, and no alcohol is allowed in the park. Good to go!

By your welches grape juice now, add some orange peel, put in a warm spot, by August you should have some nice Pruno wine.

Re: END OF SUMMER MOTOHOUSTON(and everyone else) BBQ/MEET INFO **READ**

why not have it at a go kart place. there's a place on 59 that has a nice go kart track can probably rent it out if everyone puts up like 20 or 30 bucks that would be fun have some races and everything.
