I just don't want to have credit taken away from kk47 and given to a bike.

Look, I already noted that you were right, that the bike was On the porky side, And I never took anything away from the rider, I thought he did a great job out there, And I also told you that I enjoyed the Vids. Why do You have to argue about insignificant , OP posted vids of his bike and A really good rider, And I (Purely a spectator in racing) Posted on it. I'm sure If the rider or the OP were unhappy with anything I wrote, They would have corrected me, Why do you feel the need to? You don't have to answer that, No need, We'll just move on.

I don't smoke but a Dr Pepper would be nice.

Although I should apologize for taking a giant dump on this thread. My comment was taken the wrong way and ruined an otherwise good thread.

Not withstanding the RD500/RZ500 was never sold in the US, the closest was Canada - they are not heavy bikes. Specially when the age is considered.

with that in mind, the RD/RZ500 is 435lbs dry - closer to 450lbs with a tank of fuel. Paul's RZ runs lighter pipes and would be lighter still.

My track orientated RZ500 is about 380lbs fully fueled. These are not super light weight bikes, but they are also no porkers.
