MotoGP 2015 Championship standings after Misano

Bradley Smith and Scott Redding take to the podium alongside Marc Marquez

MotoGP 2015 Championship standings after Misano

DESPITE Marc Marquez winning in Misano, Rossi still maintains his lead of the MotoGP World Championship.

The nine-time World Champion now has 247-points, 23-points clear of Lorenzo due to his DNF at Misano.

Marquez now jumps to 184-points leaving him with a comfortable margin ahead of Andrea Iannone who has 159-points.

A second MotoGP podium now means Britain’s Bradley Smith adds another 20-points to his tally leaving him fifth overall whilst Scott Redding now sits in 13th position after finishing third in Misano.
