yea, he's a very cool guy. in between my sessions he walked me through some lines that should have shaved some seconds off, but I never got to try them out cuz the red flags came out and the race was ended early...

i probably could have done better myself....but i wasn't comfortable with redlining someone else's machine....and it seemed like that was where all the power was between 10k-11k rpms. so i tried to keep it 10k or less. i think if the gearing was changed for more torque instead of high end power....we could've turned better lap times.

i would've gone another round and shave some time off too, but , i'm just too big for that bike.

i've concluded that i'm too big for the nsr50, and it doesn't have enough power for my weight. it's a fun little bike, but not competitive enough for my liking. i think it would've been 10 times funner if there were more people on nsr50's. then it would be about the rider and not the bike.

ya...i feel that.

i was told that the reason i was faster at the hill was because my weight! i wonder if they were telling me that i have no skill:dontknow:

but i definately would have liked to see a few more nsr50s out there so we could have ridden against another couple of stockers

That's why TMGP has a special sprint race for those of us who are 200+. They call it Dinosaurs. No kidding.
