RideSmart COTA- tips

I'm doing RideSmart at cota on Saturday and didn't know if anyone had any helpful tips for camping out. We will get there Friday night with the toy hauler.

I didn't know where is a good area to park?
Where the classrooms are?
Easy access?
Where and how can my gf take pics around the track? Or what access she has to the track area.

Any help?

Spectators will only have access to the front straight. The class rooms are up above the paddock garages. If your getting early, grab the closest spot.

Your gonna love it!

Hhhmmmmaybe she can find a way to wonder a bit. If not no biggie. I was hoping she could wander that inside area. Like on the inside of turn 2 and the mullet area.

I'm excited and nervous all at the same time.

Had a great Saturday. Here's some tips.

1. There are plenty of people there to help you.
B. You can check in and tech in on the night before.
III. Everything is well controlled. No shenanigans
4. Stairs suck
E. Parking is tight.

What group were you in what were you riding. I probably saw you. Wish I would of been 100% and would of rode more. I am glad all went smooth for you. That place is a blast.

I was on my 99 Ducati 996s in L2b. I saw your 500 and have it on vid. Nice bike.

I was nowhere near comfortable on that track till the end of the day and still didn't hit a few turns correctly at all.

Which will bring me to another tip for cota:

If you are red/green/brown colorblind, you will have some difficulties on this track. Turns 3-7 are hard to 'see' as well as 13,14 and 16-18. These corners have a lot of colors in the runoff blending into the candy stripe and mixing with rack and car skid marks causing a situation where you may not be sure where the riding part of the track really is.
