No, you're not scum of the earth, but by coming on here and bragging about being a coward knocks you down few notches in my estimation.

You trivializing it knocks it down further.

I've made my point, I'm done here.

Just one more thought... I've had a cop pull up behind hind me rather rapidly, flash his lights and flick on his overhead lights behind me... i pulled over and he kept going... lights off.

Maybe he was just trying to let you know that he needed to get past... flashing his lights is a good way of getting your attention.

I've made my point, I'm done here.
in my defense, i HAVE confronted cagers, on more than one occassion. one member here was there when one occassion happened. im not afraid to get in somebody's face. , im wearing semi-body armor and a snell helmet, lol. but like i said, im not saying what i did was right, it was just the heat of the moment, and i expected no respect, it was just a rant. why would someone use their lights to get in front of me, only to hit his brakes and do what he did? and IM the bad guy? and no, i still dont feel bad about it. ive met ALOT of people on this board, and ridden with them on several rides. they can vouch that this is not in my character. im a very calm, collected person. i have no idea why i let this guy get under my skin so much tho.:eh:

because he hit his brakes once he got in front of me to match my speed, even pulled over onto the shoulder a little bit.

Your first post:

the other night i was cruising and ended up heading to angleton down 288. i was going a little faster than the flow of traffic (by little, i mean about 5mph faster) which was around 75 mph--technically speeding. on a motorcycle, as all of us do, we merge closer to cars closer than we would if we were in a cage. so im minding my own business, then i see these reds and blues light up behind me. so im thinking "im caught". no biggie. i start to slow down and pull over. just about when i got on the shoulder, this hillbilly in a dually is what passes me. hes the one with the red/blue lights (obviously a VFD, or just a redneck that thinks its macho, just because they do that) and its a diesel. how do i know its a diesel? because once he got in front of me (i was doing about 40mph at that time) he guns it, intentionally blowing this big black cloud of smoke in my face. now...ive been cut off, tail gated, almost run off the road as all of you have, but this extra from Deliverance did this just to be a . so i decided to be a . i pull up next to him, flip him off, and knock his mirror clean off of his truck, glass shattering everywhere, then i took off before he could get my plates. oh he tried to catch up because i could hear that raggety hunk of junk gun it. but even after i did what i did, i still didnt feel any satisfaction. i seriously contemplated turing around and going after him, but knowing what he drives, having a welding rig in the back of it, he was probably on the phone calling his brother-slash-cousin to gather up the boys for a "stringin up". i think that was the most off ive EVER been while driving, even in my cage.

ok i see what youre saying. but that should have gone without saying. if im slowed down to around 40, ON THE SHOULDER (i said i was pulling over), and hes passing me at 75, how else is he gonna get in front of me and blow diesel in my face?

And grown men man up and confront someone face to face, not knock off their mirror and take off before they could get the plates, but hey maybe that's how they do things in your world.

Uuum, he slowed down a little because he was passing you and was unsure if you'd stay in the lane?

Hmmmm.... rereading your original post and then your reply to my statement brings just one thought to my mind:

Contradictory Statements

One more thought while we're at this...
