It's exhaust... who cares!! Part of riding a motorcycle is dealing with the elements and dealing with dumbasses.

How is your story any different than the story up in Dallas with all those peeps messing with the dude in the Jag?

Everyone is just sooo eager to start chit these days... cooler heads prevail!! All he had to do is make one small swerve (possibly even an accidental move) and you're biker road kill.

Think about the big picture before you act...

You obviously don't know Mike. This act he did is so out of his character. I'm shocked to even hear this myself. I'm glad you're okay.

Out of character or not, it wasn't a really smart thing to do.

I'm a little more inclined to accept someone doing it if their life was threatened by someone in a car, but that wasn't the case, it was because he had to breathe some exhaust fumes?

It's a little exteme don't you think, even for me, and I've been accused of being an "extreme" person.

By taking the cowards way out and destroying someones property and then running, if he'd have been caught, depending on who the guy was, he may have had his handed to him, gotten shot, or went to jail.
To me, the risk vs reward isn't worth it, especially when he said he didn't receive any satisfaction from it.

However, as I said, if he had that big of an issue with it / felt that strongly about it, flag the guy down or follow him till he stops, give him a piece of your mind and take it from there.

I'm really not trying to rag on anyone, just saying that this kind of stuff in general is what is continually giving the rest of us the black eye with non-motorcyclists, especially when the circustances may not be as blatant as he saw them.

My 2 cents.

I know how you feel, well sort off, I almost got run off the road couple of weeks back. I posted about it. But if he did it intentionally, then F#@k them! never do that T again, I guarantee it. If it was a mistake, and it was a legit VFD then you can always say I'm sorry and pay for the damages. In either case glad you are ok.

MSF? Jk.:laughing6 I just posted that cause someone always does, and no one has yet. So there is the token MSF.:laughing6

Doesn't matter if I know Mike or not... he did it, and hurt the bike image even more.

What about the motorists that saw this exchange? The see a bike get passed by a truck, then they see a bike cruise up along side of said truck, apparently destroy a mirror and then take off.

How does that help the image for motorcyclists?

i do kinda think.. although its a funny story...

that you only did it because you were on the bike and knew you could easily run away

think about it this way...

your getting out of your car in a parking lot...

a guy runs up to your car and smashes your mirror because you cut him off earlier..

you chase him on foot, but he is faster and in better shape...

now would you or would you not be on here talking about how much of a pu$$y he was for running away?

the dude was a freakin volunteer fire fighter dude.. its lame enough to smash anyones mirror... but a freakin volunteer fire fighter? come on now..

diesel engines blow smoke when they accelerate. it happens man.

you had road rage.

period.

and you ran away like a sissy.

period.

so get mad at me and rage some more if you want. your the one who posted your road rage on a public servant episode online for the world to see, not me.

im just responding, as this is what forums are for.

and ill diffuse this situation before it ever arises....

i am in new york right now. i am driving my wife and dog back to houston from the 27th to the 6th to leave them here while i deploy to iraq...

so save any '' ill show you whos a pu$$Y type comments till then and i would be glad to show you the armys mma style of combatives we adopted from royce gracie in 1995, and now made it the army standard.
https://www.infantry.army.mil/combatives/

i will show you free of charge, and wont even break your bike or cars bodywork and then run away.

i hope this dude is one of the guys who responds to your next house fire.
