Hey RacerX...did you and a friend with an FZ09 trailer your bikes out to ride with us awhile ago?
The reason i always post rides is because im guessing the majority of MH has never been out here to enjoy some really good roads outside of Houston...ive had a number of compliments from riders saying they didnt realize there were good curvy roads around. I'm simply offering an alternative to riding around the crowded city. Sure we ride the same roads most of the time but reason being is we have yet to find better roads that suit our riding preferences. What Loco said applys to us too. We arent long distance riders so we prefer to stay close where there are good roads.

Our group has ridden out there for many, many years and yes I agree those roads are some of the best roads with in an hour or so of Houston.
And Yes I have been on a ride with you out there, you were gracious, the ride was nice and at a very safe pace, I didn't complain because it was your ride to lead. To be clear, No one is complaining about you putting your own rides on out there... But don't try and hi-jack other peoples rides... People want to lead their own ride, or ride at their pace, or ride their own route. You just need to pump the brakes on recruiting off people's rides, if you post a ride, let the people sign up... You cant force it on to them.

The roads are nice out there but personally I didn't like riding 80+ miles in a strait line to get to a meet spot and then have to ride that same line back in the afternoon. I may do it again but not anytime soon.

Hey Morgstang, not everyone wants to ride a noob pace ride every weekend. If people are interested in riding slow cause they drank too much the night before or whatever, they know who to call, you don't have to post up in every thread about it.

This thread has spiraled out of control and not one person has made a commitment to the OP's invite...

I comprehend, but it didn't need to be said. Whats the point bro.

No one else had responded to the OP original offer and has still yet to.

It doesnt hurt giving the guy an option to ride with him if the other guy cant get anyone to go.

However, you managed to blow up this thread into a match of who can ride better than who.

Comprehend-ay?

So, go-on and do what you do...

First of all let me apologize to the OP for his thread being a disaster...your right TMax i was just offering an alternative if he wanted to come out this way and then ride to Carlos...the real fun part of 3090 is starting in Navasota...as for nesto saying i jump in everyones thread with copy and paste hes correct also...but...im posting ride request in the new members forum most of the time because most new members may have just moved to Houston or have only been riding awhile and dont know where to go for some good riding...there is no traffic at all out here which is great for newer riders...theres alot of curvy roads that riders who have just moved to Houston probably dont know about...im just trying to offer a safe and fun escape from the perils of Houston...i know how nice it is to be able to ride these roads and i would like others to be able go also...if ive offended anyone i apologize...it wasnt my intent to...

not worried about the thread jack and if no one wanted to join. It's not going to stop me from riding solo. Been getting out more recently on the bikes and riding the forest. Seen quite a few bikers in passing and figured some on them might be on here. Just extending the invite to ride together and meet some new riders in my area.

I might even ride some on sunday or monday too.

@ Bdean92
I'll let you know when I plan to ride out. I might be two up. If you do want to join. We can make the meet point @ the car shop - Old Iron Works - which is on the corner of 149 and lone star pkwy(2854).
