I THINK they're 1055's now. Could be wrong though, and I'm too lazy to check.

It's a 1050. My dear hubby has been eyeing one for a while and finally picked up a stunning black one a few months ago (he pulled one of those.. "Eh, honey, I bought you an early birthday present..! Now can I ride it?!" LOL). He's in love with that bike - and for a bike mechanic that's owned or ridden pretty much everything there is out there, this is to say something.. I rode it the other day, I should tell you it's really something special, you gonna love it. The power pulses of the triple are unlike anything I felt on any of my other bikes, inline fours, twins or singles. We got even more power out of it with TuneBoy, airbox mod and some dyno magic, but even stock it was already packing a punch. The single-sided swingarm is drop dead gorgeous, and the naked look has really grown on me.

Feel free to give me a shout if you want to know anything about the bike The airbox mod pictures and dyno charts for the bike are here: http://www.metricmotorcycles.com/SpeedTriple.asp. Vroom vroom :icon_bigg

The torque of the triples is so much fun. . .not to mention I think it's one of the most beautiful bikes out there. IMO the riding position is so much better than a sportbike, but that's just my opinion. I'm definately going to miss my Triumph :(

Im thinking he means the speed triple (955 is actually like 1051 or something close to that now).
The 675 has fairings.

speed triples are bada*s IMO.

I know some guys who have/had them and they loved it. One took it on a ride to NM and even crossed some dirt roads and creeks on it. It is a true hooligan bike!!!
