How exactly is it that you need a more gripping tire then a Pilot Power?

Theres no way your riding the powers to the max. Ive turned decent lap times on regular powers on the track...not the street.

Any brand name street tire is good

Ok, sometimes you got to play the field and find something that feels good but I just have not heard much about Metzler in a while.

i like the pirellis. imo you dont need the corsa 3's for the street, the regular diablo street version are plenty grippy enough for the street, they also look cool imo, and are ussually a few bucks cheaper than the others in most shops.

+1 on getting them from javis garage rather than a shop.

Either the Pilot Power series Michelins or the Dunlop Qualifiers are the very best you can buy on the retail road use side and they perform exceedingly well on the track, but really it depends on what amount of money you are ready to spend because there are much better tires out there, but they COST BIG TIME! plus they are too soft to last on the road very long...so stick with the Pilots they last longer than the Qualifiers and they both are pretty reasonably priced and they both received the highest rating at 87.5 in sport rider magazine...for more accurate info just call patrick at motorcycles unlimited he has the true dirt for you and he is an Honest Source!!! he will sell you the best tire at the best price for your needs!!! That I promise you...plus you get a discount from his shop for being a motohouston member...
