Briles says No. 4 Baylor not distracted by investigation

Baylor coach Art Briles says his team isn't distracted by a potential investigation of how the athletic department handled a sexual assault complaint against former transfer Sam Ukwuachu.

Baylor President Ken Starr has recommended an independent review. Briles said Monday that such a situation would be good. Other than that, Briles said he and his fourth-ranked Bears are focused on Friday night's opener at SMU.

Ukwuachu was sentenced last week to six months in jail and 10 years of probation. He was a transfer from Boise State.
