Daily Craig: Texans preseason game 3; Golfer finishes 6th before jail time

Craig Roberts returns to KPRC 2 with his 'Daily Craig' column.

(KEEP YOUR SEATS)
I liked that Bill O'Brien spent most of the game in New Orleans standing near J.J. Watt to make sure he got on TV.

The pretend season game three was OK. All three Houston QBs threw touchdowns and Tom Savage brought tears to my eyes with that rollout Matt Schaub throw late in the game. The James kid played both sides of the ball (not at the same time) and no doubt had the biggest play that didn't count, but as my uncle Max used to say, "Who is that guy?"

The Texans are unusual as most fans through the preseason look more forward to "Hard Knocks" than the games. In that regard, the "Hard" season ends one week from Monday. Fox had the graphic of the game. For some reason they talked at length about the Redskins. We saw pictures of Kirk Cousins, RGIII and Colt McCoy with the lower portion reading "Cousins to start?" You know someone at home said "those guys are cousins?"

The Barclays golf tournament had a story that made headlines. Just not here.

Sang Moon Bae, the Korean pro, finished in a tie for sixth. He now has earnings of over $2.3 million. He is done for the tour as he goes home for a mandatory two-year military service. He will continue to hear, "What did you shoot?"

He trades the driving range for the rifle range and if put near the DMZ his short game will come into play with the mortar guys. I gotta get a Sang Moon Bae jersey.
