Hahah ya that's so true! but ya i never was into the classic style of the hipster cafe racer fad... i always thought the key was in the name cafe "RACER" it's not cafe "hipster" so i always though the whole point is to strip it down make it go faster and look a little cooler in the process but most importantly make it a "Racer" so i always believed this is the best attire

Anyways i Got the frame cut down and it is getting welded up tomorrow i left the bottom cause i need to work out with my fab guy how to go about mounting the support bars

Looking good. Needs the forks dropped about 3 inches, or shortened to have the right stance, IMO.

Seems like going as much as 3 inches might have some bad effects on handling. I f you decide to head in that direction I would be cautious.

I know somebody that got to diddling around in areas like that. Took his scoot for a test ride and got a sudden head shake at about 60mph, in a straight line.
Happened so fast he could do nothing. Wound up bouncing down the 610 Loop and then off to ER. Just sayin be cautious if you make big changes.

ya im going to get a gsxr rear shock which sould rasie i a little because the squat on this stock shock when i sit on it (155lb) is almost 3 inches .... so i def need a stiffer shock

Just plan on doing heavier weight oil and replacing the fork seals, i would change the springs but i dont have enought time to Cause im leaving for thailand on the 17th and ill be there for two years.
