...Another RIP

I've pulled up next to the occasional sports car and invited a race, but there's no prize money or bragging rights. Pay attention! When traffic comes up, lay off. It's not worth dying.

Take it to the track if you think you are all that.

Helmet on ground and not sure if it fell off his head or the back of the bike during the wreck?

The story should have read, "The cop we spoke to didn't know if the rider was wearing a helmet," meaning whoever answered the phone didn't have that info, or what pinball posted

Sheesh. That's eerie . I was just running up and down Allen Pkwy yesterday before lunch. You really shouldn't carry too much speed through there due to the horrific road surfaces in certain spots. It's nice for a good view and some light curves though.

RIP rider.

Allen Parkway and Memorial from Shepherd to Downtown are very dangerous because of the poor road conditions. The speed limit is 40-50 mph, but there are several overlay bumps/asphalt islands which launch you in the air. You can't even avoid them because there are too many. If you slow down to 30 mph, motorists behind you are coming too fast so you might get run over.

I wish there were statistics for how many riders get hurt or killed due to poor road conditions and bad infrastructure.

Those bumps are fine at legal speed limits
