Pearland West prepares for Thursday night's Little League World Series elimination ga

The Pearland Little League team is ready for Thursday night's elimination game in Williamsport.

"We just need to go out there and play baseball, make sure we hit the ball like we normally do," said player, Ryan Farmer.

His teammate, Carter Ostrom, echoed the same thing.

"Pretty excited because we are going to go out and play another baseball game but California is a good hitting team we just have to go out and stop them," explained Ostrom.

The parents are ready to cheer from the stands and expect to have to be loud.

"We have to make up for last night and cheer them on, we've all supported them," said Alicia Gutierrez.

Pearland lost Wednesday night 3-0 against the team from Pennsylvania, so in order to stay in the tournament and keep the goal of making it to the US championship alive, they must win Thursday night.

The game is against the West, the same team they beat last weekend 8-4.

"They will definitely have revenge on their mind, they want to set up what seems like the big showdown around here California vs Pennsylvania, but we plan to crash the party," said team manager, Andrew Solomon.
