I'm wearing sandals and a wife beater. My "gear" is at a friends house and won't have time to get it.

jimmy....betta learn and study this..................

Here is the route we take from 290/6.

290 West to 362 South to 529 West to 331 S to 36 N (maybe W) to 949 West to 1094 West to 109 West to 1291 West (maybe North).

From Fayetville you can continue 1291 West/North to 237 North until you hit 290 East. Down 290 east for 3-4 miles and there is a gas station on your left where you can pick up scenic route 390 all the way to 105. Go west on 105 for maybe 1 mile and turn left on 2193 East until you hit 1155 South (this will take you into Chappell Hill). From Chappel Hill continue down 290 East until FM 1488 (just east of Hempstead) and go left(east). Follow 1488 until you break off to wherever you go. I personally turn right on Joseph Rd. (good slow twisies) and take it to Macedonia road where I then head back 290. If you'd like to tag along just let myself, Jimmy, or JetG know and we'll take you through the route. A lot of the sweepers can be boring unless you are moving at a good pace. I like the last 15 minutes of the ride best as you enter Fayetville. These are not the best twisties in TX, but for a SMR they do just fine. We left Houston (290/6) at 8:15, rode to Fayetville and had breakfast, and were back to 362/290 by 11:45 a.m. From gas station to my garage I put on about 200 miles in about 2 1/2 hours seat time. I rode a mild pace and the group did just fine. Those up front wait for those of us in the back.
