Pearland Little League's manager's unique hair style

Pearland Little League West's manager Andrew Solomon has a unique hair style that's turning heads at the Little League World Series.

Solomon said he hasn't had a hair cut in two years and his signature dreadlocks are now dyed purple.

"The dreads have their own Twitter account, and I have my Twitter account and the dreads have about twice as many followers as I have," Solomon said. "So that's kind of weird."

KPRC 2 found out that when Solomon is not coaching his son Alex and the others on the team, he's a professor of law at South Texas College of Law.

Meanwhile, the dreads we see now may not be around for long either depending on how Pearland performs.

"We are still negotiating," Solmon said. "I'm sure if we can succeed here and be successful and win the World Series, which even saying sounds surreal, I'm sure I'll leave Williamsport with a lot less hair than I came to Williamsport with."
