Good question... I am sporting the stock one myself but would love to get my hands on one of the M4s.

Yosh always has had an awesome tone.... but yeah... they want some money for their stuff. I personally need to find out what works well with the Attack body work.

I have the TRC on my 06 GSXR-1000 and it was no where near $700.

What year bike do you have and where are you shopping at?

Jardine just came out with a GP style slipon exhaust for the 06/07 600 and 750. I really like the look of it and it is priced not to break the bank.

I have a GSXR1000 and run the Akrapovic carbon slip on. It has a deeper ton than the Yoshi in all RPM bands. I have heard both and they both sound great.. but I'm more for the deeper, throaty tone. When I was shopping for both, the Yoshi was around $480 and my akra ran $600. The full yoshi system w/headers was only around $850 so no way that $700 was just for slip on.

When you change the exhaust , especially full system change, it is a good idea to remap the injection.
The mfrs make the bikes pretty lean when stock, to pass emissions. When you make the exhaust flow better it goes even leaner.
So it is recommended to get a Pwr Commander to manipulate the injection to be appropriately rich.
I hope you don't mind me expanding on your post Patrick. I just thought he sounded like he could use the details for when he comes to your shop to get his new system and PCIII.
