"Since the question was about street bikes. Anyone think the FZ6 would be a good choice?
Comfy, light and sporty without the racers tuck. 'Course I'm old so maybe you young guys prefer to do hand stands while you ride."

I think it's a good choice... you can 'tuck' somewhat if you want, or sit right up and still ride. Fairing is nice and helps with wind, rain.

Does'nt look too bad either.

That being said, I'd never buy another SS bike as a street bike. Not comfy at all and are'nt any fun unless your riding it like you stole it.
You need to get a goldwing. They will scratch the ss itch very confortable and it has an AWESOME stereo.

oh btw I will never get any relief from saying this from radar but I to would pick the 07 honda 600. Now for the litre bike that is a different story.

Amazing how everyone has their panties in a bunch based on their own good and bad experiences. All the bikes in the 600 class rule over anything anyone made 5 years ago. Reliability, comfort, performance, engine....

Honda has always been known to sacrifice a little top end for midrange drivability and racetrack setup for better ergonomics. Magazines always praise the streeting ability. It can't all be hypnotism.

But for my buck I'd get an SV650 standard with a tank bag and saddlebags for street duty. I can ride it faster than any 600 SS in the city.
