http://www.uer.ca/forum_showcats.asp?fid=3

i used to do this back when i lived in houston.. in northern ny there isnt much to explore.. besides a few factories and warehouses...

my favorite in houston was Gilleys in pasadena. dont know if its still standing , but last time i went there was late 1999, and inside the main building there were still old video games and pinball, gilleys prize tickets everywhere, and the big rodeo arena still smelled like cowshit.

there was a side building in the front that still had a shitload of old paperwork and reciepts, and accounting stuff.

pretty neat, but i wasnt into photography at the time, and it me off when i think about it i didnt get ANY pictures...

The old hospital on Allen Parkway was a good one back in the day.

I found this weird bunker in Portland back in the woods. I have pics that I need to get developed.

im not sure of the address, but i can describe where it is.

in pasadena, there is, or WAS when i lived there.. a bowling alley. on one side was a gym, and the other side was an apartment complex.

i cant remember the street the bowling alley is on, but i know it USED to be called armadillo lanes.

actually i think i just remembered.... Preston st. i think

anyways, if you go through that apartment complex next to the bowling , there is a street back there at the end of the complex.

turn right on it, and go down a ways and gilleys used to be on the left.

like i said i dunno if its still there, or if they turned it into something else.

google - gilleys pasadena tx

In 1989 Gilley's suffered an arson fire that gutted the interior, but the building's shell was still standing until 2006 when it was demolished by the Pasadena Independent School District, its current owner. Only the old sound recording studio remains.

there ya go...

guess its gone.. but the studio was right next to it, and this says its still there. i doubt any of the old reciepts and paperwork is still inside but you could always go take a look

We kinda did this back when the k-marts shut down. We broke into the abandon k-mart building in waco from the roof and had fun with a with the long converyor belt They had all the old pricing guns, and shelves and stuff still in the store.
