Increase penalties for people who get caught not abiding, then use that extra money to help enforce it.
Problem with that is they have to actually do something other than collect money. The amount of people riding around with no insurance just goes to show that all they are doing is collecting money.

Good idea! Now tell me how they find these people and how they are going to pay agents to find them to penalize them? Do you work for free? Maybe you could volenteer your sailing time to find there violators. Bring your free loading friends to help, so we can get this bad idea into effect.

I'm a Native Texan. Texas didn't exist as a Republic or State at that time. You're welcome

Here in Illinois we are required to have insurance to drive. The insurance companies still make money on uninsured/underinsured drivers. Why? Mostly the illegal aliens who drive without ins. or a license or get insurance, get a license and then cancel the ins. The loafers at the DL office who get paid plenty and have good pensions and act like waiting on you is a great inconvenience for them bothers me plenty but the insurance part is worse in my opinion. Other than that this thread is not as entertaining as some others.

SO... Does that mean Native Americans who were born in the area native to their tribe are actually Native Native Americans?

You're going to pay people a salary to enforce the laws, using the increased penalties for violators as well as vehicle tax, registration fees, tag fees, ect to pay them with.

Perhaps if they were forced to actually enforce the law in order to raise money to pay their salary, there would be less uninsured drivers around.
As it stands, they are collecting my money so they can pay some fat to eat bon bons behind the counter and act like a all day...which explains the huge amount of drivers who get away with not being insured.

How they do it isn't your concern. It gets done doesn't it? That costs money. Like I said, get a group that agrees with you and volenteer your time. Is your time worth more than $5 a year? He'll that's not even worth the tax write-off. I'm all for your idea. Come on! Let's get this thing going. Go Fund me seems like a better idea, but hey, it's your plan...

They already have plenty of cash brah, trust me.

All they need to do is increase penalties for who can't keep their in line and do away with doing a "renewal" simply to check for insurance and outstanding tickets(if they are even doing that, which I doubt)

Problem with that is it's too honest. There's much more money to be had by hitting everyone up, whether they are an upstanding citizen or not.

The lady that served me provided excellent customer service. Guess it's one of the benefits of being Native Texan

Brah... you've failed to prove your case that they are doing any service for me whatsoever by having me renew online, without being required to submit any proof that I am still eligible to drive...so if anything is full , it's you for handing over your cash without question, assuming it's being put to good use.

Nice try though. Keep on trolling.
