I work from 630 am to 530 and get home about 630 , I don't have time to drive over there during the week and Saturdays my kids have me tied up and I usually only escape Sunday early morning to ride for a bit . So for just the tire put on and balanced I'll find someone over here to do it , anything other than that I'll take it to Motorcycles Unlimited one way or another

Motorcycles Unlimited > all

Other than that. I took it to cycle gear and was in and out within 30 min. Forgot how much they charged (I bought the tire from them as well). But it's down the road from you.

Edit totally forgot that you talked about this in the OP

Totally understandable.
Keep this thread going. You're bound to find someone who can do it for some cold beer.

Not judging bro, do what you do. Just defending my decision since thumper's tone was like I was foolish for suggesting it.
I know how most bikes shops are run, I used to run one.

Ernesto, I know you're not on the northside, but I'll change the tire @ HoPD. On the bike, 20 bucks. Off the bike, 10 bucks.

Shoot me a message on here or fb

It's a little spot in the end of a strip center, but you can't miss it.

Check out Texas Cycle Center as well (in League City)... I heard they work on all of Pasadena's PD bikes and are fair priced folks.

NW side is a long drive, but for you, the tire swap will cost you nothing.

Hit me on a PM if you want to use my tire machine and balancer

I had a good experience with Cycle Gear on 45S. They mounted a front tire for me. Off the bike. Think it was $40. No wait.

you dont want me to help out any members???

I'm not out to do business as a tire changer, I just have the equipment sitting because my son used to race CMRA... Now it just sits... I just try to help out...

Many people need after-hour support, which I can provide, plus the different shops I have used before have scratched my black rims, and the "no-mar" tire changer does not.
Anyway no big deal, I just try to be helpful to the motorcycle community and fellow riders

Because we're all supposed to drive to Motorcycles Unlimited for tire changes regardless of where we're located, duh!

I love Motorcycles Unlimited and they're all great people up there, but for Christ's sake guys he lives an hour away and it's a tire change. Y'all are hilarious
