You can't trust getting out of the race line, there are rocks hiding everywhere.

I did finish 1 lap but timed out, I had bike trouble quite a few times, bike would stall at times, several times I had to sit still waiting for it to decide to start, I would kick for a minute wearing myself out and she just wouldn't start up.

We all had a great time and met some really wonderful people last week, I tell you, in TN you just can't compare to Houston, the people are so nice it makes you dread having to come back to such a city like ours.

Only 40 out of 150 riders completed the first round of 2 laps, they decided to go ahead and take the top 75 against their own rule just to fill the second round race.

There were some pretty bad amateurs in attendance, the top 2 guys finished the first 2 lap race in 1:38 minutes, a course that ended up being just over 14 miles long per lap. Pretty impressive times and 1 of the guys rented a KTM from KR4 and rode the out of it to take the overall win in round 1 and round 2.

2015 Kenda TKO hot lap start for JW22

Just watch his smooth, calculated techniques for crossing logs and jumping, nobody else did it quite as impressive as Jonny Walker (24 year old Extreme Enduro world champion)

Looks like a of a course with lots of elevation, plenty of obstacles, and lots of bar biting trees. I bet that course claimed a few bikes over the weekend...or at least a bunch of parts. That waterfall section is nuts and I enjoyed the bunny hop homeboy did over your bike around the 2 min mark in the random footage video. And that endo by JW22?? sick.

What happened to no video footage I've already lost 3 gopros this year? Couldn't drive all the way to TN to ride a course and NOT video? Gangsta. Congrats on finishing and thanks for sharing your ride bud.

The elevation was killer, sometimes, the trail would go literally for a mile or more, winding left and right but always up, we went up more than we came down it seemed but, I was so focused on looking forward, I never took a look to the sides to see how far down it was.

Also, we've started planning next years trip already, Saturday I swore that was my last time to race it but, as the hours passed by, my mind quickly changed Though it was literally a brutal course to ride, I look back on my memories from the last 4 days and just can't live with the thought of not going back again to try to kill myself finishing a race.

In fact, this course is so rough, tough and brutal, that "reportedly" the Erzberg Rodeo was not near this difficult according to a father and son who started the Erzberg race this year.

I am looking forward to going back, I realized Sunday that my suspension was just set up way too stiff for the terrain, we did some practicing on the property Friday with Taylor Roberts, Mitch Carvolth, Mike Brown and Colten Haaker, these guys are beastly and they showed us a few key tricks that really helped, I just wish they had told us how to set up our suspension for the terrain.

I rode the new Kenda Equilibrium rear tire and it performed great, the tire itself is no good for anything in Texas as the compound is super soft and sticky, it is a trials hybrid tire with dirt knobbies so it was great and a ton of guys were running the tire.
