1982 Seca 900. Don't see many of those around.

everywhere I see your username on this forum I can't help but think of my 'ol gixxer, lol

indeed the FZR's look like fun bikes, almost got my hands on a 600 a few months back until the guy sold it when I told him I was on my way to pick it up. I think I read somewhere that they had a bunch of little problems and that the carbs on those things were a nightmare

Sort of old school...I have a 96 ZX6E, a 99 GSXR 750, and a 2001 ZX7R...none are running right now - let them sit up too long. Maybe this winter. I want to build a 90 Ninja 600R.

Yes, the Kawi's are carb bikes. Just can't ever seem to make time. When I have time, other "emergencies" happen...LOL...

Example: This past weekend was the first time in about 3 months that I didn't have anything planned and didn't have to work. I was going to work on my daughter's 4Runner that her boyfriend smashed up. My wife had other plans. I had to ride around with her all day on Saturday and then my same daughter had car problems on Saturday night and I had to change her alternator in the rain on Sunday. So, weekend down the tubes and I didn't get anything accomplished that I wanted to do. Maybe this winter will be different. I would really like to get the ZX6E and the GSXR running.

My motor blew up on the Gixxer so Im rebuilding it, AGAIN. Didnt even last 5000 miles it ran too lean for too long and piston #3 grenaded. this time around ill jet slightly rich and stay at 11:1 CR tops. Im putting a 2nd gen slingshot top end on my existing bottom end. Itll now be an 815cc stroker, with the larger 73mm pistons from the short stroke motor along with a much better flowing head and bigger cams. should be all done by the end of next week, can't wait!
