Exhaust popping/after fire

'14 ninja 650. Having popping/after fire on deceleration with a delkevic full exhaust. I've plugged the pair valve and got a PCV from motomummy who did a tune for it. The muffler has what I think to be a leak on it but delkevic says it is by design to vent condensation. I'm thinking maybe that is where the popping is coming from. Thoughts?

The decel pop is a common byproduct of retuning the a/f mixture. You may be running a bit rich. You can probably fix with either a dyno tune or an ignition module. Not 100% familiar with your particular model.

The pair valve is designed to keep that from happening by leaning out the mixture on decel. You need it. You are not gaining anything by not having it. I have seen this alot.

At this point I'm more concerned that I have a defective muffler. I went for a short ride last night and noticed packing hanging out of it. 87f15cbec749153c1e7e88d01ccc1d79

Call Delkevic. They stand behind their product.
