I probably would have tried to force my way around them too.

Like I said, if they were cars would they be accused of 'blocking all three southbound lanes'?

If you look closely at the video you can see that the bikes and cars in the southbound lane are travelling at the same speed as the cars in the northbound lane.

Not trying to take sides with those guys but the media has a bad habit of mis-reporting the real story.

Good idea, dumbass. I doubt this guy was completly innocent in this incident.

I'm not sure that I agree with the concept of 'bikes taking up all lanes and slowing down traffic'. If those were cars would they be accused of 'taking up all lanes'? Plus, in the 911 call he said that there were 7 bikes. The video clearly shows more than 7 bikes. Who is to say that those were the same bikers?
If all the cars were, say, Corvettes, then yeah I'd accuse them. They were obviously and organized group. When you see 18 bikes together in one place at the same time its no coincidence. Are you a lawyer? LOL

Is that reson to run a rider in danger? I was passed by a cager in the emergency line next to the fast lane just becasue I wasnt going fast enough. I was already doing probaly 75 and he put me in danger by doing that and he could of passed to the right. scared me alittle when there was a car next to me, out of nowhere. Cagers do some dumb ! I even see them do stuff to other bikers and it me off the disregaurd they show for someone elses life.

You have an excellent point about how the media gets it wrong, but the lefthand lane is for passing only, isn't it? I've heard stories about popo writing tickets for blocking the left lane regardless of your speed.

If they were a group/club driving together, then I would say yes. This wasn't a random group of traffic.

Can you really compare speed of vehicles traveling in opposite directions?

If you look closely, you can see that there is about a mile of open highway in front of the group, and a stack of cars in all 3 lanes behind them. That would be blocking traffic in my book.

"Slower traffic keep right"

Get out of the fast lane. It doesn't say "slower traffic keep right (unless you are already going 10+mph over the speed limit, in which case you are ok)"

I'd hate to be on 2 wheels on a Dallas tollway.

I never said the cager wasn't in the wrong too. What I said, is I would have done the same thing and tried to FORCE my way through. I have no patience for idiots on the road.

I don't either, 2 wheels or 4. If they want to do wheelies, fine! Do they have to create a situation like this too? That's not just inconsiderate, its dangerous!
