I'll have to figure out how to get the bike to the track. That's my only concern.

Sweet! A lot easier than I had expected ... I was thinking I had to replace my coolant and safety wire my oil drain and filter.

I'm hoping to convince my co-worker to sign up, he rides a ZX-14 ... kind of like Dr. Evil and Mini-Me ... his 14 next to my 250.

Do you usually trailer/truck your rides in or does anyone actually ride their bikes to the track? Hmmm... I guess that's pretty silly considering the things you probably want to bring ... like extra gas and chairs.

Most trailer it or put it in a truck...its just safer, that way if your bike has a malfunction, OR YOU have a malfunction while on the track.....you can get everything home. And yeh, its nice to be able to bring creature comforts.

I think I'm going to need to a ride with someone if they have room to spare in the back of a trailer or truck.

Chris ... if Turbo_Ls_Hatch isn't going to take you up on it, would you mind giving me and my 250 a ride?

Thanks

Man I hope I got the funds to do a track day. The parade day and the ride for roman just got me wanting to try the track out. Guys how much is the fee to get in? I think it's like 150 or so, so I can try to register for it.

I believe it's $175 to sign up. Leather rental is $100 IIRC. If everything goes as planned, I think I'll be spending around $350. Sounds a bit expensive, but that's cheaper than the one ticket I've gotten on the bike. Traveling at high rates of speed on public roads is very bad.:eh:

Patrcik / Track leathers is a great way to get started and not having to pay outta the nose.

I sent Buck an email also and Turbo Hatch a PM. Assuming I will get a spot, I will have 'Big Red' and a trailer, so enough room for at least 3 bikes (maybe 4), people, drinks, and enough room for the extra that goes with it. I'm near 288 & BW8. Anybody that wants a ride, lemme know.

BTW 'Big Red' is a 15-passenger, 1-ton, V-10, over-glorified toaster!
Imagine this in red..
