I finished the install of the Turbo on the new motor

HOLY ! this thing hauls major !
Its the 1250 Nallin big bore kit with Thunderstorm forged 10:5.1 pistons with the stage II heads and valves, 585 cams, warner-ishi rhb-52 turbo and a mikuni 42. prolly left some of the details on the motor out, but you get the idea, 10.5 compression with 8# boost. Full boost by 3.5k rpms and shifting at 7k rpms it pulls like a freight train on crack.
I was on the freeway yesterday, 70 mph and ripped to 120 in a blink, seriously, with craploads more in it. <~~(were talking about a Harley here, not a metric)
When the weather clears, I'll rip a rolling burnout vid for ya. Just about tore up the 150 rear tire after yesterdays rolling second gear burnout debauchery.
My buddy has a 110 cubic inch SE, I can make him look like hes in reverse in a bad way. Gotta love whooping up on his brand new $30,000 SE :icon_bigg

not really concerned with total HP numbers, I know its mean, fun, different all in one. I really dont race it, just twist it a bit every once in a while. With the new motor and its built up wickedness, add 8# of boost and It is faster than any other HD on the street 'round these parts I'd guess. and another guess would be that its probably faster than 70% of the metrics on this board too.
turbo1
woot for HD this time

so when are you gonna snap the drive belt? I remember you talking about converting it to chain a while back when I first saw the pics of your bike..

Also does it come on smoothly, or is it just like you got rear-ended by a frieght train? I imagine one-wheel wonders would be not much of a problem, other than it being pretty finicky b/c of the boost..

Wow that thing is beautiful! Much nicer than when I last saw it.

Kudos on a monster setup.

it comes on smooth and pulls like a freight train at the same time.
Its a decent amount of pull, it has 10:5.1 compression and 8# boost, its not the biggest turbo in the world, so it spools quickly and hits full boost by 3.5k.
it will burn rubber like a drag bike, rolling smoke easily. Its just more fun to ride, it hauls, and it looks crazy mean. Best fun of all was smoking my buddys high dollar 110 cubic inch Screaming Eagle chrome and billet bike, I tore him up, without even trying. that made his day

Looks great, How will the belt drive hold up after all that? You think you will have any problems keeping it on?

its ok so far, but there is no way I could do any kind of launch with it. otherwise the power is smooth and its holding up ok just goofing off while already rolling.
did a couple wicked rolling burnouts yesterdayrj, rolled smoke so thick it filled the shop and the feild up as it wafted on by.... the bike still smells like burned rubber

wow nice. i am pretty sure that thing is faster then 90% of the metrics on these boards. i can only imagine for roll ons, any crusiers metric or harley it would be tough to match you. nice work.
