SHNF Trail index

Is there any information source describing the trails at SHNF and their differences?

Details like trail length, is the sand super deep or ultra cavernous and deep, is there a water feature, recommended rider experience level, etc.

I've searched and found trail names and lengths but I feel like more information would be helpful.
Or maybe they're all pretty much the same so stfu and ride??

STFU and ride. Some are sandier than others and some are tighter than others. There really aren't any obstacles or water crossings that require a bunch of skill just to get through. The only difference between a novice and expert rider out there is how fast they go, not whether or not they can make it through. They are a number of different routes to take as a lot of the trails link up. There are now large maps at intersections so you can't get lost and it tells you how long the different routes are including where you parked the truck.

Appreciating that I am a complete noob, the trails I find the hardest is Sandy. Deep sand, many bad areas on trail that are washed out. It's rideable but I find it the most challenging.

Lake loop isn't bad. I like fern and boyscout.

I see you have a plated motard. Keep your eyes peeled on the events section. We do a Thursday night motard ride every so often.

I haven't ridden YCC, zebra or northwest btw. I also haven't ridden boyscout between fern and zebra.

Fern is my favorite.

That is helpful- I thought google had burned all maps. Nice to see some are keeping it real.

Is the Balloon Loop the Lake Loop? Is Kelly's Pond a trail or a parking area?

I can't answer either question. Buelligan can (Larry). DBuck probably can too.

We need more people to ride zebra to knock down the branches and teach those pesky trees that this is our path.

Kelly's pond is a campsite and its on the west side I believe. The picture posted is the complete east side.

Yes, Kelly's Pond is a camping/parking area with trailheads on the West side. The balloon loop is on the West side also - not the Lake Loop shown on the map above. I believe the West side is still closed due to downed trees from storms earlier this year.

Hope you can open these, but they are names of trails shown on the maps above and how long each trail is.
PS: you'll need to add sections together to get full length of trails, ie: Lake Loop has 3 sections for full loop, done this way because we have divided all trails into sections for the trail marshall's to keep up with on work days.
