Same way I felt about some of those early fastline but the dummies still showed up. Speaking of which, are those people out of business yet?

Fastline ? Lol. Ya, Fastline is cooked. Not enough riders to support that many track day schools. And fastline really had only one dedicated owner.

But, comparing FL to gss....???? We had mostly good people, meaning well.

Honestly I was hoping people would ignore the negative commentary and find out for themselves if they wanted to do business with this track/org. Ijs..
No offense but McDonald's has messed up my order before but I'm not out here telling everybody not to eat there. Same goes here I think, although I also have no idea what kind of bad business dealings others have had with this place so I may be missing something

If one good guy from Motohouston or the motorcycle community figured a way to rent and run a day at GSS I'd be there in a heartbeat. And I'd be on a podium teling my friends to join me.

But as long as the owner keeps trying to do it solo, expect cancelled days, unfulfilled promises (go look at the structure of the trackday website...verbatim from when we last ran trackdays out there, despite not having one instructor with certification), lies about track status, hay bales from mowing the grass directly in run off areas, or 4 foot tall grass growing onto the track. Or ask the owner about his clubhouse plans with garages and bathrooms and classrooms. Then talk to the motorcycle guys that started the job and got stiffed and never paid for the initial concrete removal. Its lies and ego wrapped around each other till theres no separatingvthe two. And when you call him on his bullshit, expect to get a lifetime ban from the track. Or threat of lawsuit.

In summary, GSS could be awesome. Unfortunately, its not. McDonalds at least tries to earn your business, with you occasionally getting screwed at the drive thru.

I was willing to go but to pay at the door. Past experiences with this Douche caused lots of frustration and that's why people like me won't pay in advance!

That stinks. I was looking forward to riding there on Sunday. With them being just 10 minutes down the road from me it is hard to pass up an opportunity to ride there. I don't know all the history here and that is OK I don't need too. I just hate to see a track that could be awesome not getting used, especially since it is so close to me. Hopefully, they will try again. Hopefully, when they do, they will put on a good track day and earn some goodwill back.
