On the bikes day, they have the track open all day to all bikes, all classes, all day don't matter what level riding you are. You go in and ride until you are ready to get out. The only control they have is to make sure the number of the bikes on the track doesn't go over the limit.
AGREED!

I was excited about joining until I rode it and discovered the pavement was absolutely super sucky. Either direction, the braking bumps were so bad coming out of the corners you'd get a tankslapper if you thought about touching the gas.

GSS owner sucks. Hopefully no one is dumb enough to show up and give him money. Last time they didn't even show up at the track cause there wasn't enough interest. And they didn't tell anyone to not come either.

When was this? Also, it seems the new track is almost finished(according to the schedule).

Anyone have any news?

Same here.
Although it's small and the owner can be very hard to get along with, GSS is still one of my favorite tracks.

I haven't been out there in over a year, but I seriously doubt construction was ever started on the additional new track.

Wow.... Can't believe they finally pulled the trigger on that project.

They had been talking about this for 5 years.

Looks like they are making the improvements that were needed to host some races as well.

I would love to race that track again.

What day are they doing this? Their website is confusing. Shows a trackday in September but it looks to be for cars. The motorcycle trackdays are shown to be $125.

1. Tires and brakes must be in good condition. Tires should be at least 75% of new condition. Any tires that are bluing from excessive wear will be disallowed. Slicks are allowed in 85% plus condition. We will have on site tire service at each track day, so if your tires don't pass, you will have the opportunity to put on replacement tires to pass tech.

Can that not happen to new tires?

Ya'll have fun. I'm interested to hear the reports. GSS was my favorite track. But that of an owner, that guy.
