advice on how to do this

With 3 days left and 2 winning bids, I'm finally selling the car sound system and will have some extra cash (not to much) to seriously start looking for 17" wheel set ups, tires and a chain (i think i might need the second chain as im keeping the dirt wheels and will be swapping back and forth).

with that said, I only know of warp 9's and there web-site quotes me at $1,010 shipped just for wheels. I would like to try and stay under or as close to the $1,000 mark for everything. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Also, what sprocket size do I need? 40, 45 or higher? the stock gearing on the 500 is close to what i would like to get to.

Many thanks

OK, so it says that just going from stock rims to 17" that to stay at the same or add one tooth to the stock "50" teeth it says (i haven't checked). That means i can use the same chain save me 100$ right there.

Now, just where to get the wheels and tires.

Yeah because just think about it for a second , it's only 100cc smaller than a 600cc sport bike so yeah it'll take your bike a second to reach that speed but regardless it would hit it

Ktm twins also offers custom wheel sets but the packages are definitely expensive. I would get on supermotojunkie and try to find a set.

or get a set of the marchesinis that came on the dukes

15/42-43 gearing is where Id go....good cruising speed on the freeway and still enough to get the front end up.
