New Rider - Motorcycle Probably needs Maintenance

Can anyone recommend me a place where I can get maintenance on my motorcycle as well as a state inspection? I live around highway 6 and I-10.

Motorcycles unlimited

It's a drive from where you're at, but worth it, esp for new riders

It's more important to find a shop who does good work and more importantly to find one you can trust.

I used to ride to new Braunfels to get my Aprilia worked on

State inspection can be had anywhere that does them on autos.

I second Motorcycles Unlimited for anything you are not comfortable doing yourself. Patrick also puts on a introductory owner maintenance class every couple of months, look in the vendor section. I highly recommend it.

I would still take it to Motorcycles Unlimited even with where you are at for at least the first service and for them to look at the bike and be honest with you about what needs to be done to make it a safe reliable bike. Honest can be hard to find.

yeah. I thought it'd be like riding with a condescending rossi.

I ride from pearland to Motorcycles unlimited. It's 43 miles each way.
They have a solid reputation, knowledgeable staff and good prices...
What more can you ask for?
