Welcome. Hmmm technical questions,eh?
I would contact Patrick at Motorcycles Unlimited. You will find his information under the site sponsors section of the homepage for this forum.
Everyone on this forum will vouch for Patrick being a straight shooter and an honest guy. Kinda unusual in the motorcycle shop world I know but he is da' man.

i just cleaned them but here is my next question about 3 months ago my bike was hit and i had to replace the stator well about a week ago my regulator went out and my head light would only somethimes come on do u think that, that could be causing the sputter

As far as I know the 03 wheels won't fit the '01
'03 is when they switched to the zx636. Yours is the zx600-j1. But anything off a ZZR600 05-07 will fit your bike. And some ZX9R parts are interchangable only the ZX9r that has the dual headlights. Hope this helps.:icon_smil

i know the bike is not slow just have issues with it, that is the reason why i am not such a fan right now. i know that the zzr600 wheels with fit but they are still a 3 spoke and i love the 6 spoke on the 636 i was thinking that they would fit simply becuase it is only one year newer
