Radiator repair shop, SW?

Anyone know of any good radiator repair shops on the SW side? I'd like to see if it's worth fixing mine vs. spending $150 on a replacement.

I only know of one good shop off Hempstead, its called Liberty Radiator. We use to take all of our classic/muscle car radiators there for repairs and refurbishes.

I just did a search for it and I guess they changed their name to Long Point Radiator. Don't be fooled by the look of the shop, they really do a good job!

Cool, I'll give them a call. Given that it's an end cap that's damaged and not the core I'm thinking it won't be such a simple (inexpensive) repair, but we'll see.

Jeez, I wish I was still working at that Baker office right there, would make it really convenient to drop off...

I think I'm going to give these guys a shot, I find myself up in that area almost weekly anyway.

Finally unwrapped the radiator I got off ebay a few days back and one of the brackets broke off at the braze.

They have been in business a long time and do very good work. I have used them for the last 15 years on my work trucks, tractors, equipment and just about anything else I have to work on.

Glad to see something on that side is still there and not town homes yet.

used. ~$165 sounded a lot better than $515 from Triumph. I've contacted the seller and am hoping to get a partial refund to cover the cost of the necessary repair. Guess we'll see.

Not trying to be a Debbie Downer, but the seller might not even respond. Hope you get it fixed for a reasonable price. $165 is a good price for a "good" used part. GL

Well, if he doesn't respond I'll file a dispute with paypal. From my wife's experience as a seller, it wouldn't be difficult to get my money back. Most big sellers are so eager to avoid negative feedback that it's never been an issue so far.

Either way, it's otherwise in very good shape. So long as it's repairable (which I can't imagine it's not) I'll be happy.

Just drove by thrower and it looks like it's shut down... I'll try calling again tomorrow.

I happened to drive by Thrower yesterday and they appeared to be open.
