It was a 250, I know who it was because they were being told about how the guy on the kawi was. I just can't word for word remember the story.

Probably bryan.. he can run level 3 times for a 600 on a 250. They just dont allow 250's in L3 cause of the speed differences being big

Or it could be this guy too. 250s and 300s are def capable of leaving any l2 rider behind pretty crazy how fast you can go on those lil tires and carry so much corner speed

Well I passed him to. Not only that I passed him on the inside!! We both came out of the paddock at the same time and I went right around him to the staging area!

I didn't pass anybody! Was just playing. I caught a lot of guys in 5&6 and 10-12. But they dusted me ont the straits.

He's probably referring to my story. When A_G and I got to TWS (Texas World Speedway) on Friday evening, a guy that was parked next to me back in April walked up and said hi. We were chatting for a sec and I asked where his buddy was. He said he stopped running on the track. I made a ribbing remark "oh did he get butthurt from getting passed by a 250?" He kind of smirked and said "ya he kind of did"

Now to the back story:
In April I did my second RideSmart class at TWS (Texas World Speedway) (first on being at MSRH), running level 1 using a borrowed ninja 250 that was basically zip tied together. It was a backup endurance bike of a buddy of mine, he didn't need it at the time, so let let me ride it after I put it back together.

Saturday, these 2 guys park next to me, both running level 1 for the first time. one was on a new ZX6 and the other (I think) on a new-ish R6? Both seemed like nice guys, chatted a little bit, all the normal track stuff.

the dude on the R6 was "gett'n it" and really was hauling all day. The other guy on the ZX6, was that guy that would haul in the straights and crawl in the corners. It seemed like all day, I would be behind him. Me being on a 250 (and because of some of the passing rules for level 1) I would always seem to be caught up behind this guy and just couldn't get around him.

Well, that last session when the rules get pretty relaxed I told my girlfriend if I get behind him, I'm going to get around him and make it stick. Well towards the end of that session, He buzzes me on the front straight. he's in front of me on turn 1, I'm reading him in and I just stay in it on the little 250 and pass him on the outside going into 2. He always cut 2 short so he could gun it straight then lay down on the brakes for 3. I stay on the line in 2 come back over with good drive for 3 and hit 3 pretty good, With him still behind me. I never see him again, we hit traffic, then the checker comes out and everyone begins to back off.

We get to the pits and he wouldnt even look at me. sometimes small victories are the best.

sounds pretty intense. keep putting in some track time on the 250, hopefully you can race it next year. LWE (Light weight endurance) is really fun but they also have sprint races (~6 laps/race) which is fun as well.

I think on those sessions, we were only allowed to pass in the straights, so that was a double no no, on the outside pass (setup) and inside pass (completion).
