Speed triple Ticking noise HELP

About 10 min into my normal route to work this morning , My speed triple starts making a ticking noise. Under throttle it sounds like a flutter almost. Im positive its not an exhaust leak. Its pretty loud standing next to the bike at a stand still. Any suggestions on what tot look for? valves i suppose?

anyways, fml

Is it a tick or a rattle (there's a difference)? Does the noise follow the rpm's? When you give it gas, does the noise get louder/faster?

Well never mind then. If you're taking it to a shop then our diagnosis would be pointless. I'm going to go out on a limb and say cam chain tensioner though.

Hard to believe there'd be valve train noise/damage in less than 20k miles, but who knows. I've been wrong before.

I, too, am an expert. I would agree with this diagnosis. Case closed.

That's actually what it was.
