Kinda what I thought at first, too, but then I realized what his thought process was probably like:

"This truck has to make a wide turn, so I'll wait here."

Yea exactly. It happens all the time to me on the roads of Houston. sometimes I have to back up for them. It's never happened on my bike tho. Driver was too busy watching the curbs and just didnt see the bike.
